Hello! My name is Kayla Lambert. I am a junior at Chadron State College, and I am studying Elementary Education. I hope to be a first, second, or third grade teacher when I graduate from CSC because I have always had a passion for working with younger students and children. I am from Rapid City, South Dakota, and I love it there very much, so I would be thrilled if I got the opportunity to teach there someday. I attended a private school from preschool through my senior year, and it was an incredible experience for me. I have always been grateful for the education that I received throughout my years in school, and that is a large part of what motivates me to give my future students a great learning experience as well.
I come from a family of six: a mother, a father, a sister, and two brothers. I am the youngest of the four children, and we are all out of the house and out of the state. My parents still live in Rapid City, and they are kept very busy by our two Shitzu puppies, Melvin and Thor, who are named after my two grandpas. They are the best part about going home (no offense to my parents), so I thought I’d share a picture of them!
Welcome to my page! I am very excited to learn about literacy in the digital age this semester!
